FESTIVALS

India is the land of festivals – riotously colourful, resplendent in its celebration, and steeped in tradition. To truly immerse yourself in a new culture, let down your guard and participate in the merrymaking that takes place during an Indian festival.

Festivals are also the best time to see local tribes in their traditional attire, practising their rituals and honouring age-old custom that are fast disappearing in this today's world.

All festival tours have fixed departure dates; however, only a few dates are released a year prior. A majority of the festival dates are released as per the alignment of the sun and moon.

To experience Eastern India like a local, get involved in a festival.
